Milsurps / Prohib Bubba-81

Sometimes you just have to make your own chassis for a sks.. first prototype and no where near perfect but getting close to where I want it 😅

If you want it to take AK mags I’m working on a conversion that hopefully will be more reliable than the SKS D/M varieties. Shoot me a dm if interested

Hey I'm very interested in anything like that. I want to start working in building a chassis system for the sks and mag adapter for ak mags to

That’s actually the next step to getting it where I want haha. Not a fan of the duckbill mags. Shot you a dm!

Damn, that's neat! How did you get that bipod in the bayonet holder?

This bipod is made specifically for SKS to go in that rail. I also sell a bipod rail, cheaper ones in ABS plastic and more expensive aluminum ones as well.

There are bayonet lug mounted SKS bipods out there

Cool project. How is the weight compared with a stock SKS?

2

Stock sks stock (at least mine) without hand guard weighs 725 gram, this setup is 883 grams. 20% increase in stock weight.

If you wanna do banana mags without doing a ton of milling. I was about to do a duck bill delete by putting a pin through my stock. My promags change like AK mags it made the gun a lot more fun in my opinion.
