Feets / Collection / My build Couple of my government approved pewpews

Post image

Henry .357, and 30-30 all weathers. Gotta run down to the states and get an RPP stock for the .357.

😂 fair but natives use them so dont see them getting banned. That seems to be key.

Guess well see! I just do what I can.

Got 30k worth of "banned" guns im sitting on so gotta get enjoyment from my levers, shotties, and bolts.

Honestly, I still get a ton of enjoyment out of my bolts and levers. I own a few of the remaining centerfire semis, and in all honesty, my bolts and levers get far more use just because I really enjoy manual actions for some reason.

Nice choices on the rifles by the way, I like those stainless models. The RPP handguard looks sweet too. I just recently picked up a 357 R95 (Rossi's 336 clone), and it's a ton of fun. I have a stainless/laminate 30-30 on the way now too.

They're great. Most effective guns out there? Nahhh. But ive never seen someone use a lever action and be upset after- always fun times.

Thanks! I have to get the 45-70 and complete the set at some point. Thats sweet! Make sure to post them, id be interesting in seeing them.

No rifle is government approved. They just haven't gotten to it yet...

Where’d you get that case? Foam all one piece, custom cut. I like that

Thanks brother. Its a Pelican Vault V700. Guns in, traced with a sharpie and cut out with a sharp knife after.

I use Vaults for transporting or storing all my guns.

Hey, how long do you store at a time for, and do you use “intercept” sheets or foam, or silica packs? Just curious!

Some ive had in there for years. I just toss some silica packs in every year- never had an issue.

What a combo of colours silver and black

1

u/ZezimaMustang Mar 11 '26

The best combo imo.

How do you like the Henry? Have heard mixed reviews

Im pretty biased obviously but I love them. I did have a lose take down screw on one out of the box but easily fix in 2 seconds with a flat head.

Actions were buttery smooth out of the box, they have never jammed, and accuracy seems to be on point.

Sure, ill give it that a Marlin does come with some nicer features out of the box (checkered grips, threaded barrel) but I still love my Henry's. Just something classic about them.

Both of these have had some upgrades

I just wish they made a shorter barrel in the all weather

1

u/ZezimaMustang Mar 12 '26

They do. 45-70 haha. 18.5 vs 20

Fair I was looking at the 357, I like the 16” barrel on the Marlin sbl

The government never approves, it just declines to disapprove in some instances.

Disappointed they aren't both chambered in 45-70.

Beautiful guns.

Meh, who cares

I just thought that was the angle you were taking with "government approved"...

Over your head?
