Insanely beautiful view good lord. Id love to be able to hike parts of canada like this sometime in the future. Truly insane how beautiful our country can be.

Did you need to do anything to take the firearm with you? Or just hunting ? Can you just take a shotty out with you into the forest for animal defense?? Im confused on that part

The laws vary a lot between provinces, but in many parts of the Alberta wilderness you can carry a NR firearms for wilderness protection. Often they’re required to be unloaded and you need to be aware of whether or not the area you’re in allows it. Lately some areas have been shutdown due to unsafe firearms use, which is a little frustrating.

I almost entirely shoot on crown land in the mountains, it gives me a little adventure.
