I've used AKs a bunch they are a vibe but kinda shitty. The safety sucks and can't be used easily the recoil is not harsh just weirdly inconsistent cause the BCG and piston rod rattle back and forth while firing. The hand guard heats up fast and mounting options are limited . The pros are simplicity and good reliability but lacking in every other way.
