Shooting Sunday Gunday - Ruger M77
Older tang-safety model in 300winmag. It was my late father’s and I try to put some rounds through it for his sake when I can. Canadian Tire generously had some PPU 300WM on for $30/box so out it came for some shooting.

A fine piece of hardware that is! Your father had good taste. Look at the quality of the bluing! The big(ger) bore iterations of the m77 sell fast at my work whenever we manage to get more in. .375s and .416s, there’s way more demand for these than I’d have guessed. The .300 win mag and .30-06 ones stuck around a while but they do sell too, but I’ve just been so surprised at how comparatively slow to sell the m77s in standard chamberings are compared to the big stuff.
Just sold an m77 “green mountain laminate” guide gun in 416 ruger the other day, they’re built like tanks. Love them.
