What I find the funniest about this is it shows off the two tier justice system as plain as day.
If you are working in the justice system and they have you cold on weapons charges they wait to press charges.
But if you are common person and someone breaks into your house and you have a weapon you are getting charged instantly.
Chances are nothing happens to this guy at most a slap on the wrist.

It’s saying 3 of the magazines seized were classified as prohibited devices, not the body armour.

That’s 2 separate points. The prohibited devices are unpinned magazines. “According to the affidavit, police seized nine firearms, along with 23 magazines — including three classified as prohibited devices.”
And
“Body armour, brass knuckles, knives, and 35 grams of the hallucinogen Psilocybin were also seized by the RCMP.” Body armour isn’t prohibited, you don’t need to have a PAL or anything to buy it in NL.

My sympathies. Never easy to have to do the right thing to end their suffering at our emotional expense. Hang in there. Maybe, when the time is right, you will find another one in need of help and mutual love and companionship.

Because of the pandemic we spent more time with him than previous cats. The more time we spent, the more his intelligence and personality seemed to evolve. He was a magical little lion and so gentle hearted, I've never known a kitty quite like him

That's tough, my condolences. Buddy just had to make the same tough call with his dog this week, was helping him grieve last night. Doesn't matter how many times we've done it, it hurts the same each time; that's the price we pay for their love.

Not when you work for the machine and actively participate in oppressing everyone else, this guys was a prosecutor so it's a safe bet he would have "done his job" and prosecuted any other citizen who was caught doing what he did.
