Shooting Hot 30-30 loads
I’ve got a single shot sb2 30-30 and I’m wanting to reload some higher bc spire point bullets and bump up the powder a bit, anyone have any experience with this? I’ve reloaded before so not green just never played with 30-30 before. Looking for flatter trajectory so I can reach out a poke a bit farther

Use a lighter projectile and look at the book(s).
Leverevolution powder and a 130-150 grain projectile appears to be what you're looking for. You can look at the Hodgdon site for their data- it seems to be at least nominally impressive.
Outside of that, I suggest appreciating the fact that Old Timey 7.62x39 (which is what .30-30 is, fundamentally) was rendered obsolete more than 100 years ago and act accordingly. It doesn't need to be .308.
