Competitions/matches 2 gun/3 gun?
Hey folks, I'm curious what the status of 2/3 gun events in Canada and BC in particular.
Always wanted to try it, but with the bans what is there to use with a semi? homesteader, sks or a .22?

Where in BC?
In the lower mainland DSSMatch is the largest organizer of matches but basically every range has their own multigun club and/or steel challenge type stuff. Check out their websites or register for stuff on practiscore.
Interior, there's some smaller multigun clubs in Kamloops and Kelowna.
Further north, PG has some multigun (maybe also quesnel?) and peace region has a pretty active multigun club afaik.
Van Island I have no idea how active the scene is, I know there's south island action shooters club but don't know much about it.
For guns its a mixed bag depending on the league and the match. Some matches might be semi auto 22 for rifle only, some matches/leagues might be more loose and allow lever and bolt action, or centerfire semi auto (what's left anyways). Basically all matches allow you to shoot without a handgun if you don't own one (Make friends at the matches and people may even have spare handguns you can borrow for matches provided you take a holster safety course).
If you aren't on Practiscore, you should create an account and use that to find matches in your area as pretty much everything is posted on there these days.
