Gun and gear reviews Does this count as a 45?

Soooo does this count as a 45?? Technically it shoots 45 cal… I can shoot 45 long colt from her. But why would I? 😂😂

It still uses a .452 bullet which is standard .45. People have to realize that the name of the caliber rarely translates to the actual bullet diameter. .270 is actually .277. .38spec is actually .357 etc.

Yeah it’s obvious most don’t know that. Kinda funny. I hand load for this monster. You are correct. .452 is what she takes. I have shot standard 45 long colt out of it before but SO boring. It’s more fun shooting 22LR. 😂

And 6.5mm can mean either 6.6, 6.7, or 6.8mm (Arisaka, Swede, Carcano), but never 6.5mm. If you want true 6.5, you'll need to use what they call .25 cal, which is actually .257

I think that's actually a 46.

.452 is what I have to use to reload.

Yeah, I can throw all kinds of shit down a peice of drain pipe, doesn't mean it's any of those calibers

Well…this shoots 460 S&W which is a .452 projectile. It also shoots 454 Casull and 45 long colt.

That's super neat. I love guns that are multi caliber. I assume it can also shoot .410 if it can shoot 45 colt? Or is the chamber not long enough?

I do too! No 410. Chamber isn’t long enough. I have a Taurus Judge that shoots 410 though. It’s fun!
