It took a whole 3 comments before we started seeing the same talking points put out by the Liberals to be repeated here. Classic.

You guys are no different than Liberals are the end of the day with your fanboy over the leader. The point is that we need to win. I really couldn't care less if this offends you. This is fact. People like me cannot vote for CPC until that guy is out. No wonder CPC keeps losing. Like?? Seriously do you want to win or lose I don't get it. Why do you guy see PP as a celebrity? Why can't you admit he kinda sucks as CPC leader? I don't get it. No wonder we will lose our guns.

At this point I give up you guys are actively preventing our win. Eveyrone that supports PP is the reason why CPC wil lose again. THANKS!

Did you just delete your comment and repost it again but with a twist because a reddit comment calling you out on your silliness got you all bothered?

But sure I'll treat this as an actual conversation.

You open with “this is fact,” and then immediately follow it with nothing but your personal feelings. That’s not a fact that’s you stamping your foot because you don’t like a politician. If your entire voting decision hinges on whether you personally like one guy’s personality, you’re basically admitting you treat politics like celebrity gossip.

And the irony is hilarious. You’re complaining about people “seeing PP as a celebrity,” while your whole argument is literally “I don’t like him so I won’t vote for the party.” That’s the definition of personality politics.

Also the “no wonder CPC keeps losing” line just shows how little you actually understand Canadian elections. The CPC literally won the popular vote in the last election and broke ground in multiple ridings they've previously struggled in.

The problem isn’t some imaginary cult around the leader it’s a fragmented vote and a media environment that spends half its time demonizing conservatives. What could Pierre have done differently to stop the NDP from imploding and the Bloc from bleeding seats? It was literally their Kobayashi maru. What happened to "oh he's gonna crash in his leadership review"? That goal post already got moved but you seem to still be in the past.

The funniest part is the gun comment. You’re basically admitting you care about the issue but are willing to hand power to the exact people restricting it because one politician hurts your feelings. That’s not principled it’s just unbelievably stupid.

But sure, keep pretending the entire party’s success hinges on whether you personally vibe with the leader. That level of political analysis is exactly why takes like this get laughed at.

Maybe stop regurgitating the same tired talking points from Reddit and CBC opinion pieces and then people would take your comments more seriously. Literally nothing you've posted has any substance or serious criticism of the conservative or Pierre.

It's easy to just say they don't like the other guy instead of addressing the platform because one requires actual thought and principles, the other is based in feelings and vibes.

He's arrogant and unlikeable. Sets up fake videos for drama like tht apple video. He hasn't done much and just complains when he's a hypocrite and leeches our own taxpayer money. I really don't understand what you guys see in him. You guys make me think of liberals sometimes. We definitely are not going to win this time around again I'm so tired of the fanboyism people have over PP. You guys just don't get it and it's astonishing. I thought liberals were special....

He's arrogant and unlikeable. Sets up fake videos for drama like tht apple video

It's funny people have resorted to claiming THIS is the fake video meanwhile the Liberals have prop houses put up and grocery stores without labels.

He hasn't done much and just complains when he's a hypocrite and leeches our own taxpayer money

He's clearly gotten under you skin. All of your criticisms are vibes based lol.You also say he “hasn’t done much,” which is a pretty wild claim considering his job is Leader of the Opposition. The role is literally to hold the government accountable and criticize bad policy. That’s not “just complaining,” that’s the function of the position. Expecting the opposition to implement policy while not being in government just shows you don’t understand how Parliament works.

Not to mention the conservatives have brought forward plenty of amendments and plans that have been shot down in the house (see their recent amendments to the law exemption bill and their food affordability plan for example). And the “leeches taxpayer money” line is rich considering every MP from every party is paid the same parliamentary salary. If that’s your standard, then congratulations, you’ve just declared the entire House of Commons a group of leeches. I bet you were really livid at that $18 dollar orange juice huh.

The funniest part is you accusing others of “fanboyism” while your entire position boils down to “I don’t like him, therefore everyone else must be delusional.” That’s not analysis that’s just you being mad that other people disagree with you.

You keep saying “you guys just don’t get it,” but honestly it looks like you’re the one who doesn’t understand how politics, opposition parties, or even basic parliamentary roles work.

Let's keep it on topic, we have to support the only party that is pushing back against the confiscation. I know that's a hard pill to swallow but you're not helping by regurgitating the same tired vibe based talking points.
