Application / Regulation advice Is anyone shipping in hard cases?

As title, as per Canada Post regs they want a trigger lock AND locked in a secure container. This would add $60 minimum to shipping cost ( 2 locks and a cheap case). How are people shipping their online-sold firearms?

Just sold a rifle last week

Bought a dirt cheap $10 Huntshield lock at canadian tire and added it onto the shipping costs

Shipped it inside an old Winchester box i got from the FLGS, just had to cut the foam a bit and voila
