Application / Regulation advice Is anyone shipping in hard cases?

As title, as per Canada Post regs they want a trigger lock AND locked in a secure container. This would add $60 minimum to shipping cost ( 2 locks and a cheap case). How are people shipping their online-sold firearms?

No one ships guns, they ship baseball bats and golf clubs.

for legal reasons, this is a joke.

There have been numerous posts here, and in other forums about how people do not declare what they are actually sending.

It's not that deep.

There is no requirement to declare to a postal employee what's in the box. You however must declare the box contains no hazardous goods and its legally mailable matter
