What an absurd take, it was an LPC campaign slogan that morphed into a dog whistle for boomers and LPC sycophants. It also helped our Canadian corporate monopolies ramp up price gouging because "patriotism". Now your grocery prices are up 7% per month and anyone that criticises this is somehow anti-Canadian.
Coined by Mike Myers on SNL and gained momentum as grass roots effort from there.

This effort and slogan has virtually nothing to do with the corporate price gouging that has been going on for years, and would be almost objectively worse under the even more corporate favouring conservatives...

Yes it's a well known hockey term that was used by the LPC in a campaign video featuring Mike Meters and Mark Carney. This proves my point.

We aren't in that situation, the LPC has been in power for the last ten years.
Overall? That insulting the elbows up movement is harmful to the Canadian economy, and potentially our sovereignty.

That you are objectively wrong that its a Liberal or Carney slogan. Sure, he used it to gain political support, just as many politicians did, including Doug Ford.
Also that your complaints and connections of elbows up to the last decade of price gouging (primarly began with COVID), has anything to do with each other, or that the same price gouging you're complaining about wouldn't WITH CERTAINTY, be worse under the government who consistently further prioritizes corporate profits even more than the Liberals do

I don't live in Ontario or care about Doug Ford. The second part of your statement here contradicts the first. Thank you for illustrating my point.
Again, the conservatives aren't in power. Your last point is speculative and irrelevant because the liberals are currently in power. Thanks in part to their brilliant "elbows up" ad buy.
