Fix my gun Adler 500 .308 screw?

Post image

Canada might call these the Citadel.

Anyone know what kind of screws are for the recoil pad? I want to disassemble the buttstock but the documentation is very bad.

Most Turkish shotgun recoil pads use Phillips head screws, so I’d assume the same for this.

Can you not.....determine by inspection?

The pad is a very soft rubber, and the holes are tiny. You cant see through them. I tried opening up the holes but the rubber is so soft that they just close up again.

So yea the rubber basically swallows the screw head

also in the documentation, mine says to only be taken apart by a "Licensed gunsmith" lol - apparently they are a huge pain to take apart and do not really "field strip" - I just surface glean and gun snake mine

videos Ive seen dont make it seem too bad. ofc its nothing like some other bolt actions, but I believe I could do it at home. Just need the proper tool for that weird nut by the gas system
