Fix my gun Spends $3500 on a rifle…

Went to shoot my new 307 today. Nope. Weatherby put a short action spring and mechanism in my 7prc magnum bolt. I don’t know how this even happened. Gotta send it back now. Sad Friday…

Do they not fire the rifles there at least once to see if it functions? This seems like a massive oopsie.

CZ does, at least for their rimfire. When you buy a brand new CZ 455 (now discontinued) or 457, they usually come with a print out paper that shows a target with point of aim and point of impact with 3 groups, as well as the brand of ammo that was used for their test fire.
