Sent a message and considering emailing the journalist personally. Read the title, read the article, look at the photo. This is the kind of garbage journalism that leaves uninformed Canadians supporting Gun Grab policies. Its not just the CBC.

I mean, I guess it isn’t exactly a good look for us, but “garbage”? The article isn’t misrepresenting anything, as far as I can tell. Dude was being sketchy in a van, police issued a stop, he didn’t stop immediately, then he did, police found ammo on his person then found the rifle in the shitbox.

It’s garbage because the sensational headline is taking advantage of the general public’s ignorance about the subject to raise fear and smear law abiding firearms owners.
