Ontario Premier Doug Ford and federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre both demanded changes to legislation after Kawartha Lakes police announced the charges against McDonald.

At an unrelated news conference on Thursday, Ford told reporters "if the guy breaks into your house and he has a crossbow ready to kill you, it’s free game."

"Anyone breaks into my home," Ford added, "it’s going to be a bad day for him — a real, real bad day."

Well, for once I agree with Ford. And like my friend always said, rather be judge by 12 than carry by 6.

hasent ford had like 2 or 3 people try to break into his house since becoming premier to where it now needs 24/7 opp outside of it
