BILL BILL BILL!!!

Hey folks, answering the call for more shooting drill content. Regretfully I don't have any video but maybe I can still get some points for training in the rain haha. Here's some pics from when my buddy and I were testing how fast we could dump 6 rounds through our 1301 Tacticals. Time is from an aimed start at 7 yards because we were shooting bird shot.

Hey, Bud. I usually just gloss over this stuff, but I'm actively avoiding work right now, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to urge you to revel in the mechanics of writing by making ample (or even sparse) use of punctuation marks.

Wishing you all the best! I know sometimes you just gotta get things out tho, so keep on keepin on

Sounds good to me! My buddies and I have been enjoying shooting drills featured on Milspec Mojo's Cold Start series on YouTube. We use our TM22 instead of an AR but wear chest rigs so we can still do retention reloads and practice other skills.

7 yards? Damn the camera really makes you seem a bit fuether out... looks about 12-13 yards in frame there (to me)

We always forget to take photos before packing up for the day so I think this was when we circled back haha. Probably closer to 10yds here. Cellphone cameras make distance super hard to judge I find.

Right on. Looks like a fun shotgun pit in any case. I'm often back there to have some fast mag dumps into clay pigeons set in the berm. Highly recommend it if it's allowed at your spot.

Clay pigeons are an awesome affordable reactive target! I like to use them for long range rimfire by attaching a binder clip then stapling them up on a target backer. For shotguns I tend to shoot them only while airborne although dusting a "rabbit" during sporting clays is very satisfying too.

That's a Streamlight TLR-HL + their long gun kit. Here's a summary of my feelings about it for the 1301 from last time someone asked about it.

It's a solid pistol light with a good pedigree. Uses CR123A, field swappable, nice amount of flood, can be retorqued in the field via a coin slot and has a kill switch + over ride to constant on in case the plug fails. It's mounted a bit far out but as you can see from the beam pattern any closer would cause issues with shadowing the hot spot. I love the way it gets the front sight glowing giving me a reference point for fast shots even if the dot dies or gets washed out by the light (only an issue if brightness isn't set correctly).
