BCL MRX mags in Renegade

As title suggests:

I bought some mags, but encountering the following:

  • bolt will not go forward
  • extremely tight in mag well

After comparing to pmags, it seems the spine of the MRX mag is higher.

Is it legal to mod these mags? Anyone have experience making this work?

I just wanna go pew pew with a 20 rounder lol

Im pretty sure you're allowed to altar mags however you like, as long as you're not reverting to a prohibited device by unpunning.

I understand that the renegade were designed to be compatible with bcl magazines. Maybe you could email MRA CS and ask them if they have any tips.

No, you cannot modify a magazine to fit another gun. But you can modify the receiver to accept another type of mags

People modded Ak mags to fit the t81

Should the magazine not be modified in a way that alters its original capacity / the capacity law applied to the rifle you trying to use it in, it should be legal?

Example: pinned 5 rounded to be used in a semi auto should be okay (5 round limit). The MRX magazine to be used in a semi auto is a no go.
