Sellier and Bellot 40gr .22LR
A follow up to a post awhile back, I picked up a 5000rd case of the Sellier and Bellot Canadian Match Standard thanks to a lot of helpful feedback I got on here and I must say this stuff shoots!
Little dirty little waxy but accurate and affordable.

What distance were you shooting at? Was looking stock picking up some of the same ammo, local retailer has it on special

I’d highly recommend it, so far the only thing that hasn’t shot it well has been a Marlin SemiAuto

I was hoping to grab that exact batch of ammo, but it sold out many a day ago.
Does anyone have any idea when go tenda usually restocks?

Thanks, will do. Do you happen to know, in your observations, is it usually pretty quick, like a week or two to restock or is it more like months before it's probably going to be available?

Must depend on their suppliers, its been pretty random for me but haven't had to wait more than a month for something (a firearm) ammo has generally been 2-3 weeks max.

They've also got the Aguila SV 40Gr on sale, which shoot very well for me.
$150 for a box of 2000

It's decent 22lr, but I was annoyed when I ordered it from Tenda. It was sold as a case, which is normally a box containing 10 bricks, of 10 boxes, all of the same manufacturing lot. Instead I got a box containing 100 loose boxes from multiple lots.
Don't sell me a case when you're not going to ship me an actual case.

If only it were high velocity.
$0.10 per round is about the best you’ll find these days.

Is what it is in these dark and trying times,
For learning to shoot consistently and accurately at 300Y I’m on the volume end of the game right now and this scratches the itch.

I bought 5000 CCI HV for the same price a couple years ago, not sure what those are going for now.

You don't want high velocity ammo for long range 22LR shooting. Especially at 300 yards.
Once it drops under the sound barrier at 1125 fps, which it will at those distances, it destabilizes and can tumble.
Most standard velocity rounds are much better for longer range 22 shots. Check the velocities listed for match grade stuff.

Good to know,
For the accuracy I’ve been getting ill be buying another 5k pack of the S&B

It's dirty...it makes you have to wipe and clean your gun but it is also very consistent for the cost..at least for me and thru 3 different 22s.
