"Weapons of the Plains" exhibit at the RCMP Heritage Center has no guns. "Removed for conservation", right! 😜

They got removed to maintain them. Not everything is a liberal plot. Believe it or not, unless you wanna display guns swabbed up with 6mm of cosmoline you’re gonna have to take them down every now and then to clean off the dust and give it a new coat of oil or light wax.

I'm a bit skeptical of this. I know conservation needs to happen, but every firearm from every room taken down at once, and not much else?

Yeah most museums usually do stuff by category or section, it saves the most time overall since they aren’t opening and closing the same display over and over again
