So I recently just learned that a family member living at my residence is being charged with a domestic crime. Not exactly sure where this leaves me, or if it puts my rights in any jeopardy. We live at the same address but a separate house, no one has access to my safe. Curious if anyone has any insight or advice? so I can prepare if necessary and plan accordingly.

Hey! I recently got my PAL. I'm in a house that was converted to 3 apartment units. One of the tenants has had the police called to the house for multiple things, among them domestic violence. I was worried that the vists would be associated with the address too. I don't think he was formally charged though. That being said, I had no issues with my PAL. I applied end of January and I had it in hand mid March.

Make sure you apply online! It's much faster.
