Anyone have any idea how long it would take RCMP to look at my application again after mailing it back for fixed errors/corrections? I mailed it more then a full business week ago now and its clearly marked as a RCMP return letter. Like would it be more then two weeks kinda thing, should I just call and see if they can pull it up and we can finish getting it approved? Because they should definitely have it in NB by now and I've been waiting over a year which they know as well.

I'm so close and it would be the most disappointing thing if it sits there for another couple months when all they have to do is take a quick look at two corrections and then its done.

Good luck, I had to send a new photo in March 2022( Originally sent in January2022) and then update my address in June, I was only approved at the start of this month.

progress was only made on my application when I called them at the times they told me to call back (even when I was told 1-2 more months it took another 6 in total)

Take from this what you will but I also had to resend information and a correction back in January of 2022 and my application is still pending. Took them a month and a phone call to realize that they received it since they sent me an email to remind me to send it in.

Mind you, I've also seen other users do the same and it took 2-6 months total even having to resend stuff in and checked off a box for a personal history question. So YMMV and take what I said with a grain of salt.

Man I fricking hate this system and long everything takes except when it doesn't for people for no particular reason 😪 I'll probably try calling then, hopefully they'll be able to pull it up, I'm willing to stay on the phone for as long as they need if that's what it takes to get it approved. I really don't want to wait 2-6 more months.

I don't blame you dude. It's super frustrating - I've all but given up on the potential hobby since it's taking so long and the fact that pistols are off the table. If you don't mind, keep me updated - I've been avoiding trying to call in again after they essentially told me to just wait.

Yeah I hear ya, I called in this morning but they said my application hadn't been processed/updated since I sent it back to them and the officer mentioned it's takes about 2 weeks from when mail is received and processed which maybe I should have thought about. They said I could try calling again in another week or two. So I guess it's more waiting for me. I just don't want it to get forgotten about or them not realizing they received it back. The worst part is every time I think its really close to finally being done it ends up being more months of waiting and seemingly like nothing happening.

Oh right, I completely forgot that they told me that it takes about a month after they receive it to even look at it since this was over a year ago when I had to call them up because of it. But speak of the devil - I just checked and received an email saying it was approved. I emailed them Monday and they finally got back to me.
