Looking to buy my first gun, I was thinking pump action shotgun. Please let me know what are good options? Or If I should drop pump action and go for semi

What do you want the gun for? Shooting targets for fun, hunting, personal defence/survival gun, etc? It's important to know, because guns are very specialized tools.

If you're asking what pump shotguns are good, I'd either buy a used Remington 870 made prior to 2007, or, more easily, a new Mossberg 500. You can't go wrong.

Looking for a reliable shotgun for survival gun and shooting targets. Which would be better between Mossberg 500, 590 or remington 870?

My recommendation would be the Mossberg 590. You can safely buy it new from any store (as opposed to the Remington), and it's probably the most well-built and reliable shotgun on the market.
