Looking for recommendations for a rifle In 308.

Reliability above precision but an accurate rifle would be good too. Just really like the idea of being able to use 308. Or put surplus 7.62x51 NATO through it. Seems versatile and readily available.

what kind of rifle and what kind of price?

Bolt action since I saw a list of available semis in 308 and they were either all extremely expensive or silly.

Price range is around 1200
