There's no way they're going to reintroduce them already. They've had no time to make changes, they just withdrew them the other week.

Okay, I agree that they won't on Tuesday, but otherwise I wouldn't be so sure. Poly and the anti-gun groups have ratcheted up the pressure on Trudeau to fulfill his promise of banning whatever they ask for, and I don't believe that Mendicino's statement was just to placate the gun control groups. Those amendments will 1000% come back, even if it means it's worded differently or is rammed through on its own legislation and the NDP's support can ALWAYS be bought.

Do we ever have proof that Poly Sewervent actively pressures the government until it's too late? I'd love to provide it for you, but this is pure speculation on my part. 🤷‍♂️
