Update time,

I am an Ontario resident and I finally received my PAL application back from the RCMP today after calling the processing center about two weeks before Christmas 2022 in which they let me know of some issues/errors that were on my application. Once I get it fixed and sent back to them they said they should just take a look at those and it should be good to approve. Officer did Specifically say it will not go through the whole review process again. I think I'm going to try and fax it over the phone and hopefully get it approved right then and there but I don't even know if they would accept it to be faxed, I'll have to find out and see.

My goal is to get approved before springtime at least, Ideally by the end of the month (is it a bit of a lofty expectation, yes it probably is). From when I took my PAL Course it has pretty much been a year now that I've been waiting. Honestly I just want to get out with my friends to start actually getting some practice on shotguns to go hunting with, that's really all I want, but patience and persistence is key.

They highlighted section C - Personal History because I had put yes to a question relating to job loss but I guess they need a written statement type of thing to go along with it which I didn't understand even though now looking at it it explicitly says to provide details on a separate page so that one was totally my fault.

Second they highlighted section I - Photo Guarantor because I guess they think its older then 12 months or something, Probably just cause of when it was signed and then with all the waiting for it to be reviewed and such it probably expired so they want a new one basically.

As far as I can see that's all they want. I called in the first place because someone on here actually told me that Officers they talked to said there was a really high error rate for Ontario (I have no idea what other provinces or territories are like) and by that time it had been over 6 months I think and they don't contact you at all, so you have to be the one to get answers and email doesn't do much ether I've tried.
