This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

The shipper (G4C) is the only one who can get a refund from Can'tPost

I too once had a gun bounced back towards the gunstore by Canada Post, even though I personally filled out my address the postie claimed it was incorrectly addressed. Luckily I was on the tracking and caught it at my town distribution center and yelled at them to give it to me.

I suspect that some posties are either lazy or they don't want to deliver guns even though their job requires it.
