Rf224 bolt did a f2f hard enough to blow the round in the magazine.....
Friend's rifle, the thing was a jamoamatic out of the box, and this one round happened to be set off in the magazine and poped the bullet into the chamber.......

Interesting in an atypical way; you would expect a failure to feed to smash the bullet in rmtge back of the barrel or the side of the chamber.
The saving grace is that a cartridge being set off outside a chamber doesn't do much except release hot gasses.

Ah there's that turkish QC we all know and love.
It's unfortunate because I love that we're seeing new offering on the Canadian market, but I've heard nothing but horror stories.

I've had a few Turkish rifles and shotguns, and they've all performed pretty well. My Churchill 12ga is going on about 1k rounds now and still working great. I also have a Turkish lever action, and despite some pickyness with ammo, it works quite well. Shockingly nice finish on the rifle for the price, has held up super well and the wood stock is nicer than my Rossi wooden stock. But yeah, some definitely are a shirshow, but there are some good ones mixed in. A lot of the Turkish guns are clones of US designs as well with some parts interchangeability, but the Turkish indigenous designs, good luck ever finding parts for!

When I was an RSO at a rental range, we tried out a set of 5x Girsan Beretta clones. We were told the factory used to make OEM parts for Beretta back in the day but decided to make their own. These guns were cheaper and had better warranty than Beretta, so we figured why not?
One of the pistols developed a visible crack on the outside of the barrel in less than 200rds. We only used factory 9mm. The distributor didn't believe us and refused to honour the warranty, so we stripped it for parts to keep the actual Berettas running. Eventually the other 4 guns died for various reasons and were stripped for parts as well.
That was my first exposure to Turkish firearm quality. I know they can occasionally make a decent gun - we also had a Canuck 1911 that ran very well - but overall the QC is pretty lacking.

Looks like the bolt came forward to feed a new round, but the round wasn’t having it for whatever reason and stayed put in the magazine. The bolt struck the stuck cartridge hard enough to crush the rim, which detonated the cartridge, and the bullet got lodged in the chamber.
Kind of unsettling—I hadn’t even considered the possibility of this happening. But with rim fire ammo and a bolt travelling fast enough, it’s definitely possible

Failure to feed. It looks like the bolt came down and pinched the side of the casing but before doing so struck the rim, setting the round off into chamber

I had a similar failure, it happened because the round was halfway unseated from the magazine when the bolt came to grab it. It missed the rim and shoved itself right into the side of the cartridge. I assume it was doing something similar but caught the rim somehow beforehand setting it off?

It means your round blow up in your magazine and blow the magazine out

Mine was absolutely garbage when I I first shot it brought it out with 4 10/22 mags all problems took it back out with the 597 adapter and mags as long as you clean it and oil it up good no failures yet again it’s a Turkish gun I didn’t have really high hopes but take it apart clean it and oil it your self
