Feets / Collection / My build Yet another TM22 Bolt Hold Open

Post image

Thanks to u/JinkalinkNinja post (https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/comments/1v194kt/tm22_pro_bolt_hold_open/) a few days ago, and his great idea, I've have made a thing! It's a replacement safety switch that also works as a bolt hold open on a stock configuration TM-22. Still in crude prototyping stages, but it's very promising.

I don't typically publish STL files for firearms parts, but if I get it to a suitably functional and reliable state, you might find the parts available for sale over on gunpost.

I'm out of the loop here - why not a 10/22? price?

Takes 25 round mags from the factory, comes out of the box with mlok handguard, comes out of the box with buffer tube and decent stock, is now offered with a short barrel, stock trigger is good, optic ready from factory, easy to operate ar style mag release, and comparable/better price.

It takes down even easier than a 10/22 for cleaning. Removing the barrel and stock are super easy. The top rail might not be perfection but the design of the gun is one of the things that makes it cool and interesting. People knock the look of the magazine but they function really well and have a good design too.

Price, reliability, decent trigger, mags that aren't garbage? The list goes on.
