Weekly Newbies & FAQ Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Yea i have tried every month for the last 5 months, goona call tomorrow, its just so annoying, and it feels like there is nothing i can do.

Fair, I saw your other post in this thread. First I recommend talking to the CFO directly if you haven't, I personally tried emailing my province's and it seems like calling might be better. I saw that Alberta's CFO's extension is 9026 I think? Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong.

If that doesn't work I read others recommending people contact their MPs. I've seen a few threads where they successfully lit a fire under their feet to process applications.
