Misc Kodiak lever actions?

Was just browsing Kodiaks site out of curiosity and saw theyre selling lever actions now? Not sure if this is a new thing for them or not. The wood on them actually looks beautiful. Anyone ever seen or handled one in person?

Given that price, you'd be better putting money towards a marlin or a Henry or S&W

I agree, I was just curious. Wondering if it's Canadian made or rebranded Turkish. To my knowledge, no Turkish company has made a 94 based rifle yet, only 92s and 95s.

The rifle itself looks beautiful and if it runs good, a good deal, but im not necessarily gonna be the guinea pig. I was actually looking at their alcor handguards when I stumbled across it. Wasn't sure if it was a new product or if they've been making them for a while. I have heard of the WK issues

Canuck actually has a side eject that I assume is a marlin 336 design!  Rossi also makes the r95, which is marlin 336 but made in Brazil 

Edit reread your comment and realized you meant the 1894 marlin, also don't think anyone has a 1894 marlin clone

I do have an R95 in 357 and a Henry in 3030, but I've been toying with replacing the rossi as its had issues with jamming and accuracy, and just awful quality screws on it.

I've been going back and forth between a canuck wrangler (the 92 clone), or a Henry in 357 to replace the R95, so this kind of caught my eye.

The Canucks actually feel quite well made after handling one in person, and I honestly expect canuck has better QC than Rossi. I've had to deal with Rossi support before when my old R92 broke, and they kinda suck to deal with and use the cheapest metal possible. Of course though I ordered the R95 right before my R92 broke.

Super happy with my Henry in 3030, but I'd be willing to take a chance on canuck with what I've heard about Odell and after handling a few in person this weekend. Pretty rifles. I do wish they had a side eject though in 357.

You might be right, I've only heard good things about the Canuck Wranglers so far, and good things about Canuck  warranty.  I've also only heard bad things about Rossi Warranty. The only good side is that there is lots of info on Rossi forums and such for fixing things yourself.

Honestly though, glancing at Canucks cataloge and future coming guns... it looks like a year of Canuck for me. The side eject Wrangler,  their folding Semi auto 12ga Flex, 357 revolver rifles, their c22 22lr rifle.... like a lot has me interested from them

With all the upcoming guns I wanna buy its gonna be a penny pinching year for me haha. I am quite excited for those C22s as well. May replace my Derya with it.

By the way, if you have a Mk15 on order, most recent update I've had is that they are delayed until mid October now. I did see theyre now available in FDE though at a couple shops (pre order still of course), and they seem to be offering a 12" and 15" handguard now as well.

I only just bought my first semi 223s this year and that's my latest favourites. Hoping maybe one day Canuck will come out this their own version of a semi auto 223 at somepoint too.
