Misc “Men don’t wear pistols in Canada!”
The photographic, archaeological & written evidence seems to suggest otherwise.
Don‘t even make me delve into the first legislation against firearms ownership which dominion of Canada implemented and where those laws applied and who they were used against.

Its easy for them to go to the us find straw buyers or even just buy off the secondhand market without any paperwork then come back with a trunk full of guns. The border agency catches 1 every so often but its apparent that most are getting across. The government was so focused on confiscating the wrong firearms from legal responsible firearm owners all the while thousands of illegal firearms were crossing now they will have to catch up to start seizing them 20-50 at a time. Even when a criminal does a broad daylight shooting they get almost as much time in custody as a citizen does after using a weapon to protect themselves against a home invasion. Ive seen a video of a shooter getting out of jail laughing because he commited a shooting broad daylight in the city and did less than a year.
