As memory serves there's a government type sign that specifically says no to target shooting on that road. But it's been a while

The first 2.4km of the road is Simcoe County Forrest land which specifically prohibits target shooting, past that is crownland so I believe I should be all good

even on crown land, target shooting is prohibited in simcoe county, period. you'll have to go east to kawartha lakes region to shoot legally on crown land
plus, if you have to bypass a gate and hike to reach crown land, that sounds like you'll have to trespass in order to access. glhf

The crown land is part of Severn municipality which has no firearm discharge bylaws.
