Buy recommendations Scope Reccomendations - FFP (MOA) 2x10-15 mag range $2000 total budget
Curious if anyone has any input on a scope im looking at. Going on a 308win. Primary use case is spot&stalk/still hunting rifle. Typical shots likely <150m aside from cuts where 200-250m is possible, but i'd like to keep the shots <300m.
So far thoughts are Bushnell R7 3x15-50, Trijicon 2-10x32, Meopta 3-15x. The Trijicon has more FOV which is nice for target acquisition, but less zoom and a smaller objective lens which hunting in a mix of thick mixed boreal forest or clear cuts its maybe not the best choice for the use case.
Open to any ideas/input. Cheers

In Canada:
PST gen2 2-10x32 or the 3-15x44 (but lean towards the 2-10x32) Both feature a fully illuminated reticle which to me is a non-negotiable must have feature on a ffp if being used for hunting. Look for a sale one on gunpost. They aren't worth the full retail price in 2026.
Alternatively, the Strike Eagle 3-18x44 is also a contender and has locking elevation turret and a capped windage turret which I'd argue are better suited for hunting. That will also extend your budget for good rings and maybe some other accessories (or ammo) you may be interested in.
Bushnell is in a weird place right now and I personally wouldn't buy anything in case things go belly up. Not familiar with Trijicon or Meopta's warranty services in Canada. All i know is Vortex, should you need it is the most painless procedure to deal with. Leupold is also good for customer service but i don't know enough about their optic lines.
