Buy recommendations Lever action 44mag or 30-30

Can someone please suggest?

I only shoot in range. No hunting. I don’t like 357mag.

Shoot from 15yard to 100yard

I've got a Smith & Wesson 1854 in .44 mag and it's an absolute riot to shoot.

I dressed mine up with a Ranger Point PewView and a Vortex 1-4x LPVO. It's so rad.

Vortex crossfire HD 1-4? Any recommendations for a mount? I’m looking to do the same with mine

I honestly can't remember what I used, but it's super tight, the magnification ring has like half a mm of clearance. I'll go check later.
