Fix my gun Benelli M2 QC

Just got a brand new Benelli M2. Had to return others due to machining defects in the sights and reciever (dents that have the factory finish over them)

Newest example i got has some of the worst machining mistakes I have seen around the barrel ring.

Stoeger customer support told me to kick rocks and it wouldn't be covered by warranty. I suppose it is cosmetic, but for a $2000+ premium shotgun, I expected more.

I've seen a lot of people talk down on turkish guns, but so far italian manufacturing has left a lot to be desired.

Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations for touching up the finish and gap on the side (picture 3) i would appreciate it.

That’s insane. I own a Franchi Affinity 3 and have stripped several others that had obviously much better QC than that, and IIRC that’s said to share some parts and design with the M2?

If Franchi is serviced by Stoeger in Canada i would beware. Customer support genuinely thinks this is acceptable and its driving me crazy.

Yeah, that’s a really bad look from them. I doubt I’ll buy anything else distributed and serviced by them if they think that’s acceptable on a $2000 shotgun.

Your gonna have a hard time buying a shotgun when your figure out how many brands Beretta owns and they are all through Stoeger Canada...

I’m well aware, but there are alternatives.

Not that are better semi auto tube guns.

Beretta Benelli Franchi Stoeger.

The guy is being a bit particular over a the barrel lug/ring considering that's a fit part to the magazine tube. The finish there is a nothing burger and most likely can just be cleaned off.

I've seen a lot worse on a lot more expensive guns.
