Is that a 10 shot group? If so... there might be a white tear down my leg

5 shots. The best 10 shot I’ve had from that rifle so far was 0.34”, and I feel it’s capable of better.

TOP gun theory gives the possibility of a 0.18moa group within my 2σ SD. I average 0.4-0.5moa for 10 shots, so no reason I can’t fluke my way into a 10 shot under 0.3moa!

The point of using a larger sample size is to eliminate flukes. Also keep in mind that button rifled barrels are generally considered to be inferior to cut rifled barrels.

I’m familiar. That’s why I shot a 30 round group during my initial 200ish round “speed up” period. All 30 into 0.87moa, with 26 of 30 going into 0.64moa.

I have a cut barrel as well, from KS Arms. That thing is an absolute hammer, but the IBI isn’t very far behind at all!

What software are you using to calculate groups?

Mobile app. It’s called “SubMOA” on iOS, “RangeBuddy” on android. Not as full featured as Ballistic-X, but it’s free.
