Gun and gear reviews Is this accurate enough for grouses?

Little to no wind @ 50 yards.

Thinking about grouse hunting this fall. Is this good enough to do a bit head snipping?

I hunt grouse every year and i would highly advise using a shotgun. They can be easily wounded and fly off with 22’s

But how is the meat damage? My buddies use shotguns but cleaning shots can be annoying

Rarely damage. Shoot above the head. Sometimes 1-2 pellet but not often.

Killed over 30-40 last year

Thanks for the tips. I’ll try both and see how it works I guess. What choke do you use? I have two 12 GAs. Will 7.5 steel work?

Depends on the range you usually shoot em. We get em around 25-50 yards. I like to use #6-7 lead but steel is fine. 

I use a full but most will say to use something more open for passing shots. 

I just like the range
