Misc Aluminum SKS Chassis Release!

Hey all, we've been working on this project for about a year, and are proud to announce it been released in retail! Available in Black, FDE, and ODG Cerekote.

Like and follow us on Instagram @crookednorthcustoms for special announcements.

And yes, marketing is now well aware of how we feel about the AI "enhancement" of the concept photo, which is in fact a real build.

Ngl, Was excited for this one to drop but 700+tax+shipping and it doesn’t even include a buffer tube or any other hardware…

Am I out of touch or is that fuckin nuts?? I was so down to buy one but now I’m not so sure

Its pretty steep. The mdt oryx is like $400 and it comes with a pistol grip and a fixed buttstock.

Mdt also has $700+ options but they offer more than this. The only place this stands out is the limited marked of solid SkS chassis'. The manufacturer knows were short on options and some dinks will inevitably overpay for it.

I love MDT, have the Oryx and a few LSS Gen 2. But…Their prices are similar to this. The Oryx is $600. An LSS Gen 3 is $900 for comparable setup without a buttstock. $700 for a milled in Canada chassis doesn’t seem out of line.

Damn, youre right. I haven't shopped from them in a while.

I bought a 15" ESS for my t1x on black friday a few years ago and it came in under $700 shipped.

I didn't know they increased the oryx price by like 50%. It was a great entry budget option, and its still a good chassis, but $600 dosent feel like entry level. I guess theyre just trying to keep up with everything else.
