Are you using your mags in Libya or something? My petg-cf has a GTT of 68C so no worries with softening there. There is a slight risk with PLA but we are in Canada. I'm very excited to get into Nylon. Haven't looked much past pa-6-cf which is probably overkill for these anyways. Even that is like $100/roll

I'll look a bit more into pa12 and whatnot. Thanks for the tips.

Pa6cf can be as low as 60CAD for 1kg.

Your petgcf may hold up but if left in a range bag in a cooking car it could deform. If petgcf is a good price I may pick up some and do some testing this summer with accessories especially if they are only for vanity and not functional.

I'd be careful with placf and simply optimize layer lines with pla. I found placf very weak.

Good to know! I grabbed a roll of the bambu stuff back in January when it was on sale.

Petg-cf is a pain in the ass to be honest. I had to do so much tweaking to avoid blobbing on the nozzle and mystery plastic all over the print bed. The stuff from Bambu is like $45 but there's slightly cheaper options from other brands.

My couple of test breaks with pla-cf lead to a bloody finger due to the force required to break it. Extremely brittle and very very stiff, but my breaks didn't happen across layer lines. DM me if you want to chat more!
