lots of moose deer and turkey hunters in Quebec. Even Caribou was big before they closed it in 2017

im gonna bet the media barely covers this even thought ive seen protests with like 20 people get front and center on the nightly news

i saw a few CBC cars cruising around during the protest. we might get something from them. probably something like: « breaking- right wing extremists organized a riot in quebec city, the riot included about 150 people »

With Iran attack happening... Media won't cover it at all

It could be Ginette having a wet fart at the emergency room they couldn't care less, they are anti gun so they will not cover this regardless of what's happening

Or maybe they'll spin it in a way to make protestors look stupid going against that bill.

Lot of bots or idiots are already brigading posts talking about it on reddit

In the home of Poly!

Should do another one outside of her office in Montreal. I'd clear my calendar and make the drive for that.

Glad to see everyone being respectful. Its important we present ourselves well, especially when we are trying to express that we are responsible law abiding people who want to enjoy our hobby

I'm an outsider but I don't think possession should be framed as just a hobby. We're going to need to understand firearms the way that we do cars, or tools.

Based take. This is the Canadian way forward. 👍 🇨🇦

Boating? Gunning? Same, same.

This sub doesn't see it this way, but you and me do.

Put Poly in their place. They are a political dinosaur. They need to be taught a lesson.

What is poly?

u/Traditional_Bank2200 Feb 28 '26

Poly = PolySeSouvient. They are a non-profit Canadian gun control advocacy group. It was formed by survivors of the Ecole Polytechnique shooting in 1989.

Their most notable member is Nathalie Provost, activist turned MP. As Secretary of Nature, her contributions to environmental initiatives include incessant screeching about stronger gun control.

Bears have the right to arms, but Canadians can't bear restricted/prohibited firearms on Crown land. 👌

The firearm prohibitionist group formed by survivors of the polytechnique massacre in '89.

Incredible to see! Lots of love for coming out in the snow and using your collective voice!

Great stuff. So now it's basically been confirmed that that small handful of LPC seats in Quebec are safe, the confiscation buyback program can be dropped for the utter farce that it always was, right?

Protest outside of poly , show that stupid twat Nathalie that we are united against her tyranny, and we represent a larger population than she does. Poly was a tragedy she turned it into a disgrace for her own vanity.

How many do we think showed up?

13

u/leecroy73 Feb 28 '26

Around 5000

8

u/FedInformant Mar 01 '26

Wish it was bigger. We should be doing this nation wide. Why isn't CCFR setting something up nation wide?

2

u/thecoolernameistaken Mar 01 '26

Ccfr is more interested in posting Tracy Wilson’s fuckin schizo rants

2

u/FedInformant Mar 01 '26

Yea man my wife was showing me some of the crap on Facebook. I dont know why the CCFR even keeps her.

7

u/PumpJack_McGee Feb 28 '26

Good turnout. Well done.

Every city in Canada need to do this

2

u/Noah_S_Schwartz Mar 02 '26

Having been to Quebec in February this protest is even more impressive. Good to see people braving the cold to make their voices heard peacefully and respectfully.

1

u/Eat_Cantaloupe_ Mar 02 '26

That is a surprisingly large crowd
