How much accuracy gain did you see with the chassis?
Are these Ruger's accurate in the OEM config?

I cant really say for this rifle. I bought the chassis before the rifle and it immediately went into the chassis. I have a Ruger American in .243 win and it will shoot 5/8" groups in its OEM config. I feel the only thing Ruger really skimps out on with these rifles is the stock, but they got a lot stiffer when Ruger redesigned it and they came out with the interchangeable magwell stock. They are great in their OEM config but I just have a love affair with MDT chassis.

I thought I recognized this rifle. I saved your "new foldy boi" post from a few months ago.
Its looking slick, I got a ranch in 308 while they were available.
Now I really want to put a tikka t1x in an LSS chassis with a compact crabine buttstock, linear compensator and a magpul hand stop, to make a light, handy all purpose .22.
I'm quite jealous.

haha Foldy Boi is all grown up now. Thanks for the hype. I liked the micro red dot but found I wanted just a bit of magnification. Foldy Boi' little bro is a CZ 455 22lr in a LSS-RF chassis and folding stock that I put together a few years ago. Almost Identical build and I liked it so much that I did the Ruger Ranch. I highly recommend putting one together, I have a ton of fun with that lil 22. I'll make a post showing off that one so you can see what the 22 looks like.

You may have to beef up the cheek rest on the stock. I found Ar designed stocks don’t have enough cheek rest elevation on platforms where the bore isn’t inline with the stock. The PRS stock that came on my mdt was garbage. Put an mdt skeleton stock on and it’s drastically better.

I have a Magpul 3/4" riser on the MOE stock. It's hard to see in that picture and I forgot to include it in my parts list. It puts my eye perfectly in line with the scope. You're definitely right and I find that's something a lot of people overlook when putting together a rifle. Trying to use a "chin weld" is garbage, you gotta fit the rifle to you not the other way around.

Just wanted to share my CPR build that I have been testing for the past few weeks. I've been piecing it together over the past year and I'm really impressed with the system as a whole so far. The sling pack is very comfortable to hike/MTB/ATV with. The rifle weighs exactly 10lbs when assembled which is not crazy but feels like it's lighter with this pack. I've been getting some decent accuracy from m193, the attached photo is from confirming zero from the Chinese surplus 5.56 it was originally sighted in with to PMC XTAC 5.56. Very little zero shift from the ammo and none that I notice from the ADM Recon mount in my testing yet. I chose that mount specifically due to reviews showing minimal POI shift since I planned on using the QD feature extensively. When choosing the optic I went the buy once/cry once route and went with the Delta Stryker 1-6 with DSMR reticle after learning my lesson that good glass is worth the extra cost. I wanted a "set and forget" scope that I could use reticle holdovers for any distance shooting. The DSMR reticle is a simple crosshair mil hash/dot that I find works really well, no problem hitting targets out to 430m (furthest tested). I just put my data into Strelok, get my holdover and "DING". I also like the low profile capped turrets for this application. The illuminated dot is "nuclear" bright and functions as a red dot at 1x. Overall length of the rifle folded is 27". I can't wait to get out and do some more shooting with this rifle. Have some 69gr match ammo that I have to test out and nice fresh AR500 silhouette that I want to get out to 500m. Will update after more testing. These Ruger American Rifles keep exceeding my expectations.

ADM QD mounts have the best return to zero in the industry. They beat out mounts that cost three times as much (cough cough spuhr cough cough)
I basically standardized with them, they're good shit

No perceived POI shift from the mount during my testing. Can attach, ring all my steel from 100m-430m, remove, attach, repeat.
